An Indicator That Repaints Is Not Confirming Anything.
It Is Giving You hindsight.
DoIt SMT Divergences compares confirmed swing highs and lows between your chart symbol and a second correlated instrument, and marks the moment they stop agreeing. EURUSD makes a new high, GBPUSD does not. That disagreement can reveal where institutional pressure is not being shared equally.
Confirmed Only mode is on out of the box: a swing is accepted only after the required candles to its right have closed, so historical signals do not move. Ever.

The historical chart looks perfect.
The live chart does not.
That is the quiet business model of most SMT tools. The historical chart looks immaculate because the lines moved to make it look that way. You buy the screenshot, then you trade the live version and discover they are not the same product.
A provisional swing pivots, the divergence line quietly relocates, and the "perfect signal" you saw in the marketing was never actually there when you would have needed it.
DoIt SMT Divergences was built around one rule: a confirmed signal must never move again.
Hindsight vs confirmation
The difference is not cosmetic. It decides whether your backtest means anything and whether the signal is still there while you are the one deciding.
Signals that look right after the fact.
- Lines move once the swing changes
- Provisional pivots redraw the history
- Backtests you can never reproduce live
- Same-candle shortcuts instead of real swing matching
- Screenshots you can never catch in real time
- No separation between preview and confirmed
Confirmed swings. Deterministic signals.
- Confirmed Only mode on by default
- A confirmed signal never moves again
- Real swing-to-swing matching inside a time tolerance
- Normal and inverse correlation modes
- Kill zones filter signals to the hours you trade
- Previews clearly separated from confirmed signals
What is inside DoIt SMT Divergences
A v2.00 engine rebuild: confirmed swing matching, two correlation modes, kill zones and alerts. Everything configured from the inputs tab, no coding required.
Confirmed Only mode
A swing is accepted only after the required candles to its right have closed. A divergence line built from confirmed swings is never moved later by an unfinished pivot.
Real swing-to-swing matching
Matches actual confirmed swings between the two instruments inside a configurable time tolerance. It does not compare two unrelated candles just because they share a chart index.
Normal + inverse correlation
Normal mode for instruments that move together, like EURUSD and GBPUSD. Inverse mode compares opposite swing types for relationships like EURUSD and USDCHF.
Any correlated pair
Forex crosses, equity indices, metals or crypto: the comparison symbol only needs to exist at your broker with its history loaded. Pick the pair once for the market you actually trade.
Kill zones
Filter SMT signals by London, New York, Asia or custom windows, with optional rectangles showing the active session on the chart. Times use the broker server clock.
Terminal, push + email alerts
Get notified the moment a divergence confirms. Deterministic chart objects prevent repeated copies of the same confirmed signal.
Optional provisional mode
Shows developing divergences earlier, clearly separated from confirmed signals, because those previews can move or disappear as new price arrives.
Full logic + appearance control
Swing strength, matching tolerance, recent swings, historical lookback, wick and body filters, plus the appearance of lines, labels, badges and swing markers.
What "non-repainting" actually means here
Two modes, strictly separated. Judge the indicator on confirmed signals. Use previews only if you accept they can move.
Confirmed signals DEFAULT
- Built only from swings with the required closed candles to their right
- Once drawn, a confirmed line stays exactly where it was
- Historical signals match what you would have seen live
- Alerts fire on confirmation, not on a moving preview
- Deterministic objects: no duplicated or reshuffled signals
- Use this mode when historical consistency matters. Most of the time, it does.
Provisional previews OPTIONAL
- Show developing divergences before confirmation
- Can move or disappear as new price arrives
- Visually separated so you never mistake one for a confirmed signal
- Useful for early context, never for historical testing
- Off by default: Confirmed Only is the out-of-the-box setting
- A preview that vanishes an hour later confirms nothing
SMT is the confirmation, not the strategy
You are not hunting divergences at random. You start from a zone your model already respects and let the correlated market vote.
This is also why confirmed swings matter more than early ones. A provisional line that vanishes an hour later confirms nothing. You need the disagreement to still be there while you are the one deciding.
Pick the comparison pair once, for the market and session you actually trade, and check the correlation still holds every few months.
What SMT is not
What DoIt SMT Divergences does not do
- ✕It does not predict reversals. It marks the moment two correlated markets stop agreeing.
- ✕It does not replace your model. It confirms a level you already had reasons to watch.
- ✕It does not fire on every move. No divergence at your zone is also information.
- ✕It does not trade for you. It is an indicator, not an EA.
- ✕It does not repaint confirmed signals. If that ever changed, the whole product would be pointless.
- ✕It does not guarantee profits. Nothing does, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you hindsight.

Questions worth answering before you buy
Does it repaint?
Confirmed signals do not repaint. Confirmed Only mode is the default: a swing is accepted only after the required candles to its right have closed, and a divergence line built from confirmed swings is never moved afterwards. The optional provisional mode shows developing divergences earlier and those previews can move, which is why they are visually separated and off by default.
What exactly is an SMT divergence?
Two correlated instruments normally make their highs and lows together. When one makes a new extreme and the other refuses to follow, that disagreement is an SMT (Smart Money Technique) divergence. It can reveal where institutional pressure is not being shared equally between the two markets.
Which instruments can I compare?
Any two correlated symbols available at your broker with history loaded: EURUSD vs GBPUSD, US500 vs US100, or inverse relationships like EURUSD vs USDCHF using inverse mode. Forex, indices, metals, crypto and stocks all work.
Do I get both MT4 and MT5?
Yes, with the direct purchase both platform versions are included in one price. On the MQL5 marketplace each platform is a separate listing, so buying direct is the cheaper way to run both.
Is this a complete strategy?
No, and it is not pretended to be. SMT is confirmation: evidence that two markets which normally agree have stopped agreeing, delivered at a level your own model already cares about. What you do with that is your strategy's job.
How does delivery work?
Instant. You receive a license key and account access by email right after checkout. Downloads for MT4 and MT5, the setup guide and support live at doittrading.com/account.
Why can checkout be higher than the listed price?
VAT or local taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country. The final amount is calculated by the checkout provider, not by DoItTrading.
What changed in v2.00?
A complete engine rebuild: Confirmed Only non-repainting workflow, real swing-to-swing matching instead of same-candle shortcuts, normal and inverse correlation modes, kill zones with alerts, and significantly faster historical recalculation.
Can I customize how it looks and behaves?
Yes. Comparison symbol, correlation direction, swing strength, matching tolerance, number of recent swings, historical lookback, wick and body filters, and the appearance of lines, labels, badges and swing markers are all inputs.
Will this make me profitable?
No tool can promise that. This is trading software, not financial advice or a guarantee of results. What it does promise is narrower and verifiable: confirmed signals that never move after they are drawn.
