Pick a date and time in your broker's history and start the session there. How far back you can practise is set by the history your broker provides.
The future stays hidden

Questions worth answering before you buy
How is this different from Forex Tester or Soft4FX?
Two ways. It runs inside MetaTrader on the historical data your broker already gives you, so there is no external platform to learn. And it is a one-time purchase: no simulator subscription, no separate tick-data package to keep paying for.
How does the free trial work?
Enter your email and we send you the MT4 + MT5 download. The 48-hour clock starts the first time you load the simulator on a chart, not when you sign up, and no card is involved. One trial per trader and per machine: when it ends the tool locks, and any session you exported stays on your disk.
Can I test my EA with it?
No, and you should not want to. EAs are tested in MetaTrader's own Strategy Tester. This tool trains the human: entry timing, stop placement, sizing and discipline while the future is hidden.
Where does the data come from?
From your broker's own history, already inside your terminal. That also sets how far back you can practise: no extra data package is sold or needed.
What exactly can I do during a replay session?
Start from a chosen date, play, pause and control the speed, work across several timeframes and pairs, and open, manage and close simulated positions with lot size, stop loss and take profit while price unfolds.
What happens to my session history?
You can review it during the session and export it when the simulator closes. The export shows what you actually did: entries, stops you moved, rules you dropped. That file is the product's most honest feature.
Do I get both MT4 and MT5?
Yes, with the direct purchase both platform versions are included in one price. On the MQL5 marketplace each platform is a separate listing, so buying direct is the cheaper way to run both.
How does delivery work?
