Set-and-forget GBP EA · 11+ months live

Set it on a long account.
Forget it. Let it work.

DoIt GBP Master is a high win-rate EA built for accounts you fund once, leave with plenty of margin, and check on slowly. It uses a recovery system. That gives it the equity curve you came for — and the rare-but-real risk you should know about up front.

For prop-firm accounts, use Alpha Pulse AI or MultiStrategy Pro instead. This is for the long account in the corner.

01 / The honest pitch

Yes, it has recovery logic. Here is what that means.

Most of the highest-selling EAs on MQL5 use recovery systems. They sell because they look great until the day they don't. I am not going to pretend mine is different. I am going to tell you exactly what it is — and how to use it without getting hurt.

What "recovery" actually means

When a trade goes against the system, it does not just close at a stop loss. It opens additional positions to recover. That is why the win rate is high (92%), the profit factor is solid (2.18), and the equity curve looks the way it does.

That is also why drawdowns can stretch deep when the market refuses to come back. The +16.79% max DD on Myfxbook is real — and on a worse day, on a different pair, on a smaller account, it could go further. There is no way around that math.

I built it knowing this. I priced it knowing this. I run it on a long-term account with a lot of margin and a low risk setting, and I do not put it on prop firms. If that sounds reasonable to you, keep reading.

03 / How I personally run it

The settings I use on my own account

You bought a recovery EA. The way you make it survive is to give it room. Here is the exact setup I use — not the most aggressive one that produces the prettiest backtest, but the one I sleep with at night.

Diego's set-and-forget recipe

I run GBP Master on a separate broker account, fund it once, set the risk low, and stop checking it every day. The point is not to maximize return — it is to maximize the chance the EA finishes its bad phase before I panic and shut it off.

Use this as a starting point. If you cannot tolerate a 16% drawdown on this capital, lower the risk further until you can.

04 / Who this is for

This EA is not for everyone

High win rate + recovery logic is a tool, not a category. It fits one specific use case very well, and several others very badly. Be honest with yourself.

Buy DoIt GBP Master if

  • You want a set-and-forget EA on a long-term broker account
  • You can fund the account with comfortable margin and low risk per trade
  • You can sit through a 16%+ drawdown without switching it off
  • You understand that recovery logic means rare-but-real deeper drawdowns
  • You want a real, public Myfxbook track record before you buy
  • You like the idea of bundling Gold Guardian for the same price

Buy something else if

  • You want to run this on a prop-firm account (use Alpha Pulse or MultiStrategy Pro)
  • Your daily-loss-limit rule is tight (recovery cycles will breach it)
  • You want guaranteed returns or no drawdown
  • You will check the chart every hour and panic-close the EA
  • You want to over-leverage and "speed up" the recovery — that ends badly
  • You think 92% win rate means it cannot lose

DoIt Trading

Built by Diego, founder of DoItTrading

I build trading tools the way I wish more vendors did: with live testing, clear risk notes, no fake AI labels and no magic profit promises.

DoIt GBP Master is the long-account EA I run myself — recovery logic explained out loud, public Myfxbook from day one, and the bundle deal so you actually get value across two markets, not one.

08 / FAQ

Hard questions, direct answers

Is this martingale?

It uses recovery logic — additional positions after a losing trade. Some people call that martingale, some call it averaging-down recovery. Whatever you call it: yes, that is how the high win rate is achieved, and yes, that is the source of the rare-deep-drawdown risk. There is no marketing layer hiding it.

Why such a high win rate?

Because the system holds losing trades and recovers them through additional entries instead of taking many small stop-losses. Win rate is a side-effect of that mechanic. Profit factor (2.18) and the long-run equity curve are what actually matter.

What is the worst-case drawdown?

+16.79% on the live account so far. Could a worse market sequence push that further? Yes. That is exactly why the recommended setup is low risk, high margin, long account — the system needs space to finish its job.

Can I use it on a prop firm?

I do not recommend it. Recovery cycles can breach daily-loss limits and tight max-drawdown rules. For prop firms, use Alpha Pulse AI or MultiStrategy Pro — both built with prop guardrails.

Why do you sell something you yourself are skeptical of?

Because I run it too — at low risk, on the right kind of account, eyes open. If you are going to buy a recovery EA anyway (and the market clearly does), I would rather you buy one with a real public track record, fair pricing, and a developer who tells you the downside out loud than the next overfitted top-seller on MQL5.

How much capital do I need?

You can start with as little as $500. The smaller the account, the less room the recovery cycles have, so use the lower-risk preset and keep margin clear. Bigger accounts give the system more breathing room — but $500 is a perfectly valid starting point if you treat it as a long-term account, not a sprint.

Why can checkout be higher than $799?

MQL5 may add VAT or local taxes at checkout depending on your country. The final checkout amount is calculated by MQL5, not by DoItTrading.

How do I claim Gold Guardian for free?

Buy GBP Master on MQL5 (MT4 or MT5). Then send me a screenshot of the EA activated in your terminal + your email or MQL5 username — by email or via MQL5 message. I activate Gold Guardian on your account. That is the whole process.

How is Gold Guardian different from GBP Master?

Same family of logic, but tuned for XAUUSD instead of GBP pairs. Gold is much more trending, so the EA leans on that. Live track record: +656% gain, +14.18% monthly, 96% long win rate, profit factor 4.97. Drawdowns can be deeper too (33% on the live account).

MT4 or MT5?

Both versions are available and functionally identical. Pick whichever your broker offers. MT5 is the default recommendation.
