DoIt EA Monitor.
See every bot, on one screen.
A free dashboard that watches all your EAs across MetaTrader 4 and 5: an on-chart panel, an HTML report, and notifications. So you know what your bots are doing without babysitting every chart.
What the monitor does
If you run more than one EA, you lose track. The EA Monitor pulls them into one view: an on-chart panel, an HTML report you can open in a browser, and notifications when something needs your eyes. It is free, and it works on MetaTrader 4 and 5.
Get it free
Two ways: claim it here for the MT4 and MT5 builds together, or grab it on MQL5.
Enter your email and we send a link to your account with both downloads. This is the fastest way to get MT4 and MT5 in one place, and to receive version updates.
Install in MetaTrader
The monitor runs inside MetaTrader. Install the build for your terminal.
- aDownload from your account (MT4 and MT5 builds are both there).
- bIn MetaTrader, open File → Open Data Folder.
- cCopy the file into MQL5\Experts (MT5) or MQL4\Experts (MT4). The Monitor ships as an Expert Advisor, so it lives in the Experts folder.
- dRestart MetaTrader or refresh the Navigator.
Attach the monitor to a chart
One chart is enough. The monitor watches the whole terminal from there.
- aFind DoIt EA Monitor in the Navigator under Expert Advisors.
- bDrag it onto any chart. One instance watches the whole terminal: it reads the full account history and tracks every EA by magic number, plus your manual trades.
- cNo AutoTrading needed for monitoring. The Monitor never places or modifies a trade, so it reports even with the AutoTrading button off.
- dIf you want Telegram alerts: enable them in the inputs, paste your bot token and chat ID, and allow https://api.telegram.org under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → WebRequest. There is a built-in test button to verify the connection.
Read the dashboard and report
What to look at, and when.
- 1Scan the table. Each EA shows symbol, PnL, win rate, profit factor, drawdown in cash, trade count and a last-trades sparkline. The one dragging the account down stops hiding.
- 2Switch to By symbol. If three EAs are all long the same pair, the panel sums the total lot exposure so you catch an oversized bet.
- 3Watch for the sleep marker. An EA that has gone quiet is flagged, and an inactivity alert can reach you on Telegram.
- 1Open the HTML report. Per-EA cards with equity curves, monthly PnL and trade history, plus a totals row. Self-contained, opens in any browser.
- 2Export CSV when you want the raw numbers. A breakdown CSV (strategy summary) and a trades CSV (full history).
- 3Everything is generated locally. Your analysis stays inside MetaTrader. Nothing about your accounts leaves your machine.
Hard questions, direct answers
Yes. No license, no card, no trial clock. It watches your EAs, it does not trade, so there is nothing to charge for.
No. It is a monitor and a reporter. It reads your EAs and shows PnL, exposure and reports. It does not open, close, or modify any trade.
Per EA: symbol, PnL, win rate, profit factor, drawdown in cash, trade count and a last-trades sparkline. Switch between By EA and By symbol to catch concentrated exposure. It tracks your manual trades too, and can compare manual vs automated performance.
Inactivity (an EA gone silent), drawdown above your threshold, and concentrated exposure on a symbol. Alerts go to Telegram, and they are state-based: each condition fires once when it triggers instead of spamming you every minute.
A self-contained HTML report with per-EA cards, equity curves, monthly PnL and trade history, plus a totals row. You can also export a breakdown CSV and a trades CSV. Everything is generated locally inside MetaTrader.
Both. When you claim it from your account you get both builds together.
No. One instance on any chart watches the whole terminal: it reads the full account history and groups everything by EA (magic number) and by symbol.
Claim it from your account and new versions appear there automatically. A copy downloaded once from MQL5 will not auto-notify the same way, so the account is the better channel.
Only if you want the monitor watching 24/7 while your computer is off. If your EAs already run on a VPS, install the monitor on the same machine. See Resources.
The setup we actually run
A monitor is only as useful as the machine it runs on. This is the stack behind our own live results.
